Pearl Resurfacing

Many people suffer from wrinkles, skin imperfections, ageing and sun damage.  Fortunately, this easily applied treatment effectively removes the top layer of damaged skin, thereby prompting your body to produce healthy new skin, correcting those irritating skin faults and leaving the skin glowing and soft.

Who is the treatment for?

This treatment is best for people with light to medium skin tones and with mild to moderate sun damage.

What conditions does this treat?

The pearl resurfacing treatment will help to overcome the following conditions:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Skin texture and discoloration
  • Repair sun damage and minimize pore size
  • Skin imperfections
  • Loss of fullness in skin

How does it feel?

Pearl resurfacing can feel like numerous small pinches. Therefore, a numbing cream can be applied to the skin before the treatment begins to lessen any pain that may be felt.

Is it safe?

Pearl Resurfacing is a safe treatment in wide use.  Prior to the treatment, you will review with Katrina a detailed list of contraindications and pre/post treatment instructions to allow your skin to heal properly and mitigate any known risk factors

Is there downtime?

After receiving the Pearl Resurfacing, there is some downtime required. A client’s skin may appear pink or red along with being flaky for between 5 – 7 days after the treatment; it is best to avoid sun exposure for 4 days after the pearl resurfacing.

When will I see a result?

Most patients will see a difference 4 days after receiving the treatment, though more considerable changes will show after 2 weeks. Some patients may require an additional treatment to achieve the best results, though most need only one.
